In a nutshell. It’s where we found some of the finest ingredients for our products. We searched the world over to unearth nature’s bounty–all kinds of nuts, berries, fruits and plants. We even picked up a few ancient secrets along the way. Inspired by the natural resources found in Brazil’s rainforest regions, nuNAAT® was founded.
We began fusing nature with modern science, creating an array of extraordinary hair care products. As a division of Brazil’s M. Cassab Group, we carefully crafted our line with the belief that–with the right combination of natural ingredients–everyone can have great hair. After trying our products, others began believing it too. And just like that, nuNAAT® was discovered.
Açaí
Açaí is a palm tree typical of eastern Amazon. It produces a fruit rich in astringent, antioxidant and antibacterial agents, and contains proteins and vitamins A, C, B1 and E. It also has a rich content of anthocyanins, natural pigments that give the fruit its purplish color. Aloe Vera
The aloe vera plant has long, thick-skinned, spiked leaves, that contain a clear gel-like substance rich in vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, and natural sugars. The combination and unique balance of these ingredients are what reportedly gives the plant its incredible healing properties. 
Argan Oil
Known for its unique moisturizing, cosmetic and medicinal properties, argan oil is extracted from the nuts of the Argan tree, which is found almost exclusively in southwestern Morocco. Used for centuries by Berber women to help neutralize the damaging effects caused by extreme hot weather, argan oil has age-defying and restorative properties and is high in fatty acids and vitamin E. 
Brazil Nut
The Brazil nut tree is one of the largest trees found in the rainforest of Brazil’s Amazon region. The oil extracted from the nut has a fatty-acid composition that’s very similar to sesame oil. Buriti
The Buriti palm grows throughout central Brazil. The oil extracted from the pulp has a reddish-orange hue and a fatty-acid composition similar to that of olive oil. Its oil is rich in carotenoids and provitamin A. It is used in sun care and after-sun care products, anti-aging skin products, hair fortifiers and products for dyed and damaged hair.

Cupuaçu is a fruiting tree found in the rainforests of Brazil. The butter extracted from the cupuaçu seed stabilizes emulsions and promotes hydration, in addition to absorbing UV rays and increasing hair’s elasticity.
